Hot Girl Walk Poster
For this project, I designed a promotional poster and Instagram post for the fictional "Hot Girl Walk" event, organized by the Ottawa Rape Crisis Center (ORCC). The event aimed to raise awareness about gender-based violence in a positive, empowering way, targeting university students in Ottawa. My goal was to create an eye-catching design that conveyed a sense of hope and strength while addressing such an important issue.
My Process
Building a Positive Message
To start, I researched effective ways to raise awareness and engage the target audience. After gathering insights, I created a mood board to capture the visual direction, followed by sketches of potential concepts. I focused on using bright, vibrant colors and simple shapes to evoke positivity and energy, while keeping the theme impactful.

Design for Impact
After refining the design, I created an Instagram post and poster to promote the event. By focusing on the energetic theme of the “Hot Girl Walk,” I crafted visuals that resonated with university students, blending bright colors and empowering messaging to make the campaign both memorable and motivating.
